Above Shadow lake we follow the Shadow Creek Ford and connect with the John Muir Trail for a while.

Ediza Lake!!!! We scrambled up some rocks, crossed a few snowfields and made our way to the Lake.

There was so much snow that it was still there at the end of July. The snow was fun but made finding the trail difficult. This made for some nervousness, luckily we found some tracks of other hikers.

The creek was raging at very high levels due to the massive amounts of snow to hit the Mammoth Region over the winter

We've left the John Muir Trail and continue to follow the Creek towards Ediza Lake.

We set up camp here, but then moved it because of the rocks and we where too close to Ediza Lake.
