Yellowstone National park and Grand Teton National park are two of the only National Parks in the lower 48 states where you can cross paths with a Grizzly Bear.

This is Ike from Washington, he was our wingman for half of this operation. The mission may not have been a success without him. He provided some great conversation and company.

This peak marks the fork in the trail. The left trail takes you to Hurricane Pass, and the right trail leads to Lake Solitude.

Packs off, we made it to camp and now it was time to hike up 2 miles to Lake Solitude.

Some more shots with our hiker friend Ike. Two days later Ike was heading down a trail and came face to face with a bear coming up the trail. Ike pulled his bear mace and shouted loudly,luckily the bear eventually retreated to the woods.
